Holding ordinary moments of grace in song.
PraiseEchoes began with a simple need: our church needed bilingual Chinese-English worship materials, and there were not many resources available online. So we started making them ourselves. Later, we felt these resources might bless others too, so we opened the YouTube channel. Within a few months, more than 300 people had subscribed, which encouraged us deeply.
Through serving in worship, I had always carried a desire to create. After encountering AI music tools, I finally found the courage to hold on to those brief moments of inspiration. Many of these songs were first written for my own heart. Sometimes an idea would come on the way home from work, and I would quickly write it down. Songs like "Love, How Could I Not Respond?", "Until I Knew You", "Don't Stay in the What-Ifs", and "Face to Face" all came from small moments in ordinary life.
AI music is still imperfect, but if these songs can offer even a little companionship, comfort, or help someone turn their heart back to God, that is enough. May all glory belong to God.
